Most of the conversation is about what AI does to companies, to jobs, to markets. The part I keep coming back to is smaller and stranger: what it hands to a single person working alone.
A person with no team can now do research, build software, produce work and run the admin of a life at a level that used to need several salaries. That is not a productivity story. It changes what one person is capable of attempting.
This is about what that looks like in practice, using myself as the case, and why almost nobody is talking about it in those terms.
